CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY(CSR)

Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras, YPC for short, was incorporated in September, 2000 and officially launched by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on 23 August 2001.

YPC is a non-profit organisation with the sole objective of providing assistance to schools in implementing various programmes under the School Adoption Programme. YPC has to date adopted 31 schools in and around Cheras, Wilayah Persekutuan. YPC has introduced various programmes including "Anugerah Guru Bestari" in recognition of the teachers' contribution towards achieving higher educational excellence. YPC also provides opportunities to pursue education for the less fortunate and under privileged by giving scholarships and financial assistance.
